Brandon Kingstone chess tournament results

Thirty two players participated in the Kingstone chess tournament held July 24 at Brandon University.  Marcos Valentino won the open section with a score of 4.5 points in the five rounds Swiss tournament.  Gustav Baron placed second with 4.0 points and Gilbert Perez, Saul Magnusson and Theo Wolchock placed third with 3.5.
