Congratulations to Cecil Rosner who recently became the all-time longest serving chess columnist at the Winnipeg Free Press. His column has appeared since 1981, a stretch of 36 years that surpasses the previous record held by Herb Gregory (1918 – 1954). The Manitoba Chess Association thanks Cecil for this tremendous contribution to our chess community.
