Jackson Stordeur and Jeff Babb tied for first with 3.5 points. Alan Nagelberg was first U1800 with 2.5 points. Jorel Baylon and Bruce Reimer, with 2 points, split the U1700 prizes which were enhanced with a contribution from Ken Kowal. There were a couple of byes today due to the Blizzard forecast. All games were decisive. Leading are Anthony Boron, Jeff Babb, and John Remillard. Round 2 is Friday, January 24. Players can join the tournament for round 2 with a half point bye.
