Seventeen players competed in a Chess 960 tournament held by the Manitoba Chess Association at the Forks Market in Winnipeg on May 14, 2022. Saul Magnusson placed first with a score of 4.0 in the four round Swiss tournament. Marlon Jodar was second with 3.5 points and Gustav Baron, Colin Prince and James Paeldin were tied for third with 3.0 points.
