There is still time to enter the 2015 Winnipeg Open (Joe Dreman Memorial). Two of the nine rounds have been completed, however players are allowed 3 half-point byes and any number of zero-point byes for rounds missed.

With twenty-eight players entered thus far, and with the donation from Mr. Dreman’s legacy, the prize fund will be at least $ 540, after allowing for CFC and FIDE rating fees.

At this time, the following distributions are guaranteed:

1st  – $120, 2nd – $70, 3rd $40

U2000  – 1st- $ 50, 2nd – $ 25

U1800  – 1st- $ 50, 2nd – $ 25

U1600/unrated   – 1st- $ 50, 2nd – $ 25

The remainder and additonal allocations will be determined based on final entries.
