The U1600 section (41 players) had no player scoring more than 4 points, resulting in 7-way (!) tie for first amongst

Harrison Parboosingh, Jon Bettner, Yuchen Li, Mason Bilugan, Eros Villamar, Vincent Celones, and Erik Terentiev.  With representatives in that group from all the rating prize categories including U1400 and U1200, the result was that all the prize money for the section (excluding top Unrated) was pooled  and split. (The highest class prize was less than a 7-way split)
